Alaskar Abogados is a firm from Madrid and Syria, supporting individuals, families and companies across every area of law. We work in Spanish, Arabic and English, because understanding and being understood is the first part of any defence.

Born in Aleppo, Syria, Amrou Sbahi Alaskar is a lawyer of the Madrid Bar Association, with over eight years of legal experience. He is the first Spanish lawyer of Syrian origin born in that city to join the Bar.
His practice focuses on advice in international settings: international law, human rights, global mobility and cross-border matters. He knows different legal systems first hand and works in Spanish, Arabic and English.
That multicultural outlook is what migration, international business relations and cross-border disputes now demand.
Joining the Madrid Bar is a very important step in my career. In an increasingly interconnected world, a lawyer needs not only technical knowledge but an international understanding of the law and of social realities. My aim is to contribute to a legal practice that connects different legal cultures and adds value in a global environment.
